Middle Earth Crossing. So I have been playing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and imagining Hobbit characters being in the game! And as it is Thursday which means I post sketches and unfinished work, here are some rough sketches of what that might look like! I’m hoping to do some more of these but finished and coloured.
My favourite part was putting Thorin in a dress which was the only way to approximate his outfit! Haha! Bilbo’s foot fuzz is just lines.
Sherlock. I had an old sketch kicking around and I wanted to test out a new brush so tadaaa have a Sherlock Holmes! I loved Benedict’s curls in this show. Did I love the show itself? Parts of it. And thaaaaat’s why fandom exists!

...I do not know anything about Black Sails except that it's...pirates? So of course you said "or" but I think "and". So...pirate!AU dwarves? :D
Brilliant! You didn’t specify dwarves and my mind immediately went to the Fundinson brothers!
Balin tries to look respectable. He’s usually the one who has to deal with people and pay for things so it’s important he looks trustworthy. He’d likely be the quartermaster on a ship. He speaks reasonably and carries a biiiig sword.
Dwalin is the opposite. He took a stolen navy overcoat and cut it into a vest using a dagger. I also gave Dwalin a piratey peg-leg because out of the two brothers, he seemed most likely to take the sort of risks that would result in loss of limb. I drew him in the middle of a fracas having lost his primary weapon just to show he’s the sort of bad-ass who’d take on a sabre with a dagger. XD Lookit that face! He’s totally gonna win!
How bout some more pokemon au? We saw Bilbo shooing away a Bulbasaur, but I don't believe for one second that hobbits don't have their own pokemon (even if they don't battle them, there's so much potential)!
I know I already fulfilled this request here buuut I also had a little sketch of a wee hobbit girl with a chikorita!
Train them with love. The lurverly @tea-blitz requested another Hobbit/Pokémon crossover with hobbits as last time I drew Bilbo with hobbits, it was him chasing off a troublesome bulbasaur and she felt hobbits and Pokémon would get on! :D I wanted to draw Bilbo obviously loving and being loved by his Pokémon!
Frank-N-Silver. So I was chit-chatting with @medusinestories the other day and she mentioned how much she’d like to see Silver in Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s outfit from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Uh…. same. Since she brought it up? Same. So hard same.
